| Are you registered as a 501C non-profit?
.....Yes, we are. Our tax ID number is 94-1186181.
Do you accept non-cash gifts?
.....We appreciate being considered for non-cash
gifts. Large gifts, such as real estate, stock, or investments can
be discussed with the Development Director and are, of course, welcome.
.....Our ability to accept other non-cash
gifts depends on whether we are able to use the gift. Gifts
of books are particularly appreciated in the spring; those we can't
use in the library are sold at the Spring Fair to benefit the library.
Gifts of furniture, appliances, equipment, or other goods are often
appreciated if they can be put to good use at the time they are
offered. Please contact us before bringing gifts of that nature
so we can confirm our ability to use them.
.....We happily acknowledge gifts but, unless
they are easily or obviously valued, we ask the giver to determine
the valuation for tax purposes.
How do I find out about matching gifts?
.....Many employers
or foundations offer Matching Gift programs in which they
will match gifts given by their employees to qualified non-profits.
Information regarding such programs should be requested from
your employer. As noted above, we are a registered non-profit.
Our tax ID number is 94-1186181. If you need assistance setting
up a matching gift, please contact the Development
Office at 650-325-1584, ext. 33.
How do I arrange a gift from my estate?
.....We are greatly honored by the bequests
we have received from alums, parents, and friends of the school.
In 2006, we began a planned giving program. We appreciate the opportunity
to discuss any gift you are considering. Please contact our Business
Director or Development
Director if you would like to discuss gift possibilities or
arrangements. |
